Xenophobia is hostility or violence directed at people because they are perceived as foreign or from another country. In the context of GBV, migrant women and LGBTQIA+ individuals may face higher risks of sexual violence, exploitation, or domestic abuse because of discrimination, fear of deportation, or lack of access to services.
