Victim Empowerment Centre (VEC) based at a SAPS police station, providing free counselling and trauma support to victims of crime, domestic violence, sexual assault, and abuse. The centre offers a safe, confidential space within the station where trained counsellors help victims process their experience, access medical and legal support, and begin the recovery process. The VEC works alongside SAPS officers to ensure victims receive compassionate, victim-centred care from the point of reporting.
