**Programme 1: Safety of Women and Children (Safe House)** NWF explicitly lists "Safety of Women and Children" as one of its five strategic programmes — defined as: providing emergency shelter and safety for adult victims of violence (GBV, intimate partner violence, domestic abuse) and their children (ages 0–18 years), and through advocacy networks addressing the prevalence of violence against women and children. This programme connects GBV survivors with information on their rights, protection orders, SASSA, and community-level mobilisation for safer environments. **Programme 3: Afterschool Programme and Youth Work** For children and youth aged 6–18. The programme includes: - Girls' and Boys' Life Skills Clubs (ages 10–13 and 14–18) with explicit sessions on sexual and physical abuse, GBV, drug abuse, and conflict management - Homework Clubs (ages 10–18) - Self-esteem building, resilience development, and mentorship - Recognising the reality of early exposure to violence, trauma, and crime in Lavender Hill — and building capacity to survive and overcome it GBV prevention work with children and youth is integrated throughout. **Programme 4: Early Childhood Development (Educare)** ECD for children aged 4–5 — school readiness, positive role modelling, family-inclusive learning.
