Childline Western Cape is a registered NPO providing child protection and support services across the Western Cape. The Mitchells Plain branch serves one of Cape Town's largest township communities on the Cape Flats, where rates of child abuse, sexual violence, and domestic violence are among the highest in the province.

  • Child abuse counselling and trauma support: individual and group therapy for children who have experienced sexual, physical, or emotional abuse
  • Statutory child protection intervention: social work services for children at risk, including court-ordered placements and family preservation work
  • Support for non-offending caregivers of abused children, including mothers who are themselves GBV survivors
  • Crisis intervention for children and families in acute distress
